INgene® q Mycobacterium bovis & M. caprae is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of M. bovis & M. caprae DNA in samples from Small ruminants, Swine, Cattle. The assay is optimized for samples like lungs and strains/vaccines. This kit detects the pathogen DNA in FAM channel and includes an Endogenous Control (HEX/VIC), making it a duplex real-time PCR in one-well format, allowing identification of false negatives due to poor extraction and/or PCR inhibition.
