INgezim PPV DAS 96 tests

INgezim PPV DAS is an enzymatic assay based on a Double Antibody Sandwich ELISA technique, which uses monoclonal antibodies (MAb) specific to Porcine Parvovirus (PPV) VP2 protein.

TECHNICAL BASIS OF THE KIT

1. Plates are coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for VP2 protein of PPV. On these wells, samples are added and incubated.

2. If the samples contain the antigen, it will bind to the specific antibodies for the VP2 protein which are coating the plate.

3. When a MAb-BIOTIN specific for VP2 protein of PPV is added, it will bind to the antigen bound to the antibodies coating the plate.

4. In a second amplification step, Streptavidin-Peroxidase is added, which will bind to the biotin. The binding is detected by the development of a colorimetric reaction after the addition of the substrate.
