INgezim ROTAVIRUS PORCINO is based on an indirect ELISA technique, which uses a monoclonal antibody (MAb) specific to porcine IgGs and Rotavirus A antigen.

TECHNICAL BASIS OF THE KIT

1. Plates are coated with Rotavirus A antigen. Serum samples are added and incubated.

2. If the samples contain specific antibodies to Rotavirus A, they will bind to the antigen.

3. When the MAb-PO specific of porcine IgGs is added, it will bind to the IgGs bound to the antigen. The binding is detected by the development of a colorimetric reaction after the addition of the substrate.
