INgene® q B. hyodysenteriae and B. pilosicoli is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of B. hyodysenteriae and B. pilosicoli DNA in biological samples from Swine. The assay is optimized for samples like faeces, rectal swabs, intestine and strains/vaccines. The kit consists on a multiplex real-time PCR in one-well format, detecting B. hyodysenteriae in FAM channel and B. pilosicoli in HEX/VIC channel. In addition, the mix includes and Endogenous control (EC) that is amplified in Cy5, allowing identification of false negatives due to poor extraction and/or PCR inhibition.
